STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Richmond County Country Club, Todt Hill, was the setting Friday for the 2018 Staten Island Chamber of Commerce Building Awards luncheon, attended by more than 250 guests.
Staten Island’s best new and renovated residential and commercial properties were recognized, as well as the St. George Theatre, which was bestowed with the Albert P. Melniker Award, given annually to a special person, group, or structure that enhances the quality of life on Staten Island.
The St. George Theatre, which boasts a brand-new, state-of-the-art marquee, was applauded for “adding to the vibrancy of the downtown Staten Island neighborhood.”
