STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Staten Island’s best new and renovated residential and commercial properties will be recognized by the Staten Island Chamber of Commerce on Friday at the Richmond County Country Club.
At the event, The St. George Theatre will be awarded the Albert P. Melniker Award, given annually to a special person, group or structure that enhances the quality of life on Staten Island. The newly-renovated theater is being acknowledged for “adding to the vibrancy of the downtown Staten Island neighborhood.’’
The winners of the 2018 Staten Island Chamber of Commerce Building Awards — including the most prestigious Chairman’s Award – will be lauded during the 11:30 a.m. luncheon.
